Which part if BBAI’s business holds the most potential?

Do we think the port/customs area (cargoseer), the biometric screening (pangiam), or military/DoW (AskSage) has the most potential to expand?

I know this is an oversimplified outline as to where each product is used and how, but curious what everyone thinks. And I guess I might as well ask which business area you guys think the next contract announcement will come from (***sigh***)

Promising highlights from KEV

I know there are plenty of summaries from today’s call, but I didn’t see any of them mention a couple key things Kevin touched on in the call.

  1. Significant win last week for CargoSeer in El Salvador (signed 5yr commercial deployment)

  2. Expanded offering to DoW of air-gapped local hardware to be used in the field (released 2 weeks ago)

  3. Approval CMMC lvl 2 ahead of schedule

Very positive stuff! They just are burning through cash pretty quickly but hopefully that settles in the next quarter or so.

Positive day for once.

To all the people who made the ultimate sacrifice and sold yesterday, thank you.

We just need another 20 days of rage posting about people selling and we will be back in business!

“Dark pool” and off-exchange trades for BBAI

Hey fellas, I recently saw a stat/chart showing that for the first time in history, there was more trading off-exchange in dark pools than there was in official exchanges (51% vs. 49%).

I always saw posts complaining how BBAI was a company that is constantly impacted by this type of trading but never thought much of it. According to chartexchange, it seems like the majority of their volume on Friday was off-exchange.

Aside from suppressing price actions for that day of trading, what else is the point of this? Can anyone explain this type of trading to me like I’m a child….or golden retriever?

Revenue projections

BBAI isn’t projected to start having positive income until 2028 at the moment. With the lack of insights into the company the leadership gives (outside of quarterly earnings calls), I am assuming that 2028 is going to be the year we start seeing consistency in the green.

I’m a long term holder and believe where the organization is going, so 2028 is fine by me. However, with a growing profit margin I could see the potential for them to achieve profitability prior to 2028.

I doubt we will get over $6 at the end of the year, even with a contract or two. I think what will really get the price moving will be 2Q and 3Q reports showing expanding margins and anything above 0.00 EPS. Thoughts?

2Q is almost over.

With the 2nd quarter coming to a close, I’m looking forward to the earnings call, hopefully in August.

I know it would be awesome to have a contract announcement and everything, but I think it would be equally as nice to have another positive bump in margins and EPS moving in a positive direction. Maybe even bumping up their annual revenue guidance?

Also, they have a big backlog right? Is that a product of having too many projects and not enough size to keep up with it? Genuinely curious. Thanks guys!

Border Patrol and ICE package passed

$70 billion law funding border patrol and ICE was passed by congress and signed by president Trump today. I saw 3.5 billion of that will specifically go to technology enhancements for border patrol.

Also, our friend Lisa McClain was standing right next to Trump during the signing. Take heart, friends, keep having patience!

Daily reminder

With days like today, keep your eyes on the long term potential as opposed to the daily price movement and pain. Froth and chop in the market these past few days, my friends.
