- Led a team of 6 in ALS research which we presented at a conference and were published in conference journal
- Advocacy in Washington DC where I met with a Senator to promote fundraising for a health organization.
- Raised 10,000+ dollars for the above organization
- Raised 1000+ dollars to purchase menstrual hygiene products for women
- Been doing Bharatnatyam for 11+ years and have appeared on international TV for competitions
- 60+ volunteer hours creating podcasts and presentations informing the general public about advances in medical research
- Lead programmer for FTC team
- Outreach in rural community elementary school in India. Raised $2000+ to purchase Chromebooks for the school (previously had not technology access) and taught a 3 week free Scratch course for the 4th and 5th graders with a capstone project at the end.
- 20+ hours shadowing general practitioner
Recommendation Letters: One from my Chemistry AP teacher who has gotten multiple students into MIT, recommendation from my MIT mentor who I did research with, and one from my Stats AP teacher who has gotten students into Harvard and UCs.
Essays: Working on them right now, I'm a decent writer and starting early so they should hopefully boost my application.
