It’s been extremely stressful for me to deal with my ping while playing on American servers, because I have American friends and I constantly see the huge disadvantage I have, both as a survivor and as a killer.

Whether it’s when I’m the killer and suddenly everyone becomes a perfect dodging ninja,
or when I’m a survivor and I jump, land on the ground, and the killer, still kill me mid-air or I dodge, I’m far away, and I still get hit. The distance is absurd for just 250–260 ms. I don’t even know how people play with 400 or more, it’s just really frustrating.

I also know that the hitbox tends stay a bit behind, the hitbox follows the damn ping exactly. Before anyone comes to tell me that I don't already know about this.

You feel incapable. It feels like no matter how good you try to be, the server will hold you back and favor the killer, because you’ll always be closer to them.

Unfortunately, the most frustrating part is that there’s absolutely nothing that can be done to improve it. So it’s basically: I either sacrifice my own gameplay for my friends, or I harm my friends gameplay by playing on servers in my region.

For me, this just creates even more frustration, because I don’t want to harm anyone, but at the same time I have to accept that I’m at a disadvantage compared to everyone else all the time,which has honestly been causing me a lot of burnout.

For me, the breaking point was getting caught by a Tripwire from a huge distance while using Reachout and losing more than half my HP, twice in a row.

And before anyone tries to correct me, I know the range it can hit you from is big, but not that absurd or ridiculous.

Maybe I should look for something better to do, or Idk. I'm just ^(tired) ^(and sad)
