I've been quite interested in the vibe/aesthetic of the 2000s for some time now. I know this is certainly nothing new to anyone, but I've been fascinated by this "visual atmosphere" that I feel is somehow interconnected with the attitudes and behaviors of people from that time (if that makes any sense). I think part of this fascination (at least for me) also comes from what was one of the great technological transitions in the social sphere: the diversification of social networks and the advancement in cell phone technology (flip phones are practically synonymous with the 2000s, by the way).
Changing the subject, can anyone recommend electronic music artists from that era? I'm looking for something similar to these: The Field, Junior Boys, Cut Copy, something close to house or techno.
