A book I think exists, I remember near the start there being 3 robots who's jobs were to install solar panels. A teenage girl appears from under what I think is a manhole cover?

All the robots are connected via hivemind (kinda?) Teenage girl left her underground community in search for a cure for a disease that's infecting her home

There was a big robot who I think sacrificed himself to protect the girl from a high drop

I don't remember much else, I know i read it in 2010's and it's been bugging me because I can't for the life of me remember anything more of that book
