I’m planning to have bilateral surgery in September and I’m still researching doctors (open to NY recommendations if anyone has them).

When should I realistically start consultations/book a surgeon? I feel like now might be too early since my X-rays could change, but I also don’t want to wait too long and have limited availability. Curious what timeline others followed.
