Maxicards - happy ending

Maxicards - happy ending

So funny story!

I came home today to find an envelope from Stamp Fulfillment Services. Since I’ve started marking each return envelope with the name of the stamp being made into maxicards, I knew it was the Angels’ Trumpet cards.

It took three tries to have these made. Some of you may remember that I did not add sufficient postage on my first attempt so they were returned to me uncancelled. I added forever stamps and sent them off for a second attempt.

Those were returned to me because the envelope was too thick to be posted at a collection box. I found that particularly annoying since I’d sent 2-3 sets that way with no problems.

I was very glad to receive the mailer today. Especially so, since when I took the cards out of the mailer I also found the missing “year of the horse” cards. Do you remember me complaining about getting those back, but short about half the cards?! They were in with the trumpets!

What a happy day!

I got some maxicards back from Stamp Fulfillment Services this weekend. Since I didn’t know which set was lost when the return envelope was torn, I sent a bunch off to me remade.

I got the second set of Bruce Lee’s just fine.

The “year of horse” was a mixed bag. This set came back with the illustrated cancellation- which was great. I also only received 10 cards back when I sent 20 to be cancelled - which is bad.

The maxicard roller-coaster continues. I love this nerdy ride!
