My son got an OUI and is on a deferred disposition but after satisfying all 12 conditions and paying Maine $1200, he was arrested in another state and failed to notify the prosecutor. He told his attorney who did not notify the prosecutor. So now after satisfying all conditions for 15 months, they want to sentence him to the original charge.

Has this happened to anyone else and what was the outcome? Were you able to get it reduced?

Can you recommend another attorney as he cannot have a conviction on his record.
