Changing Home run location help
My networking is going to be growing with different devices mainly Unifi. I can't make up my mind where I should move the home runs so I can start building into a Rack. Bedrooms 2&3 are out of the question due to kids. The Dmarc/fiber and home runs are covered up by a large entertainment center and a wall mount Tv. that space is already crowded
builder never used conduit, so current in wall cat6 cables are zip tied or stapled and the wood holes are filled in with Firestop clay.
I thought about the WIC installing a structure media in wall, but the space is pretty much a 5' x 5'. I don't know what the builder was thinking but my inner walls are 24" on center while the outer walls are 16", feel like they did it backwards 😃.
