I feel like when I try to make music, I come up with several different melodies at once and don’t know which one to choose or how to incorporate them, so it ends up making me get burnt out pretty fast. I also suck at making build ups.

I also don’t know whether to start with the melody, chorus, bass, or drums and I’ve tried multiple but honestly idk which one works best for me.

Is there any drills or things I should practice on to get better at this? Specifically on how to make build ups and transitions sound better.
