Top Surgery without Letter of Indication?
Hi everyone. I am currently struggling pretty badly, as I am unable to find a therapist. It's a long story. I moved a while ago, and was thus unable to continue therapy with the therapist where I got my letter of Indication for hormone therapy.
Now that I need one for top surgery, I am unable to find one. Waitlists are either non-existant or 1-3+ years, immediate places are completely undoable.
Even after getting a place, I would need at least 6 months of therapy before the therapist can consider giving me the documents I need, and many of my friends had to wait even longer due to hesitant therapists or other issues. Even then it isn't guaranteed insurance will accept the application to cover the cost. My last hope was getting insurance to pay for a private therapist (which they are technically required to do, if you can prove you contacted enough public ones), but they denied my application and I frankly do not have the energy to fight this in court.
So, I am hoping to find a clinic (preferably not too expensive) that does the surgery without a letter of indication. I would pay for it myself. I don't care where it is (EU would preferable, but whatever opportunity I have I will take), I am frankly just desperate. Any help would be appreciated, thank you in advance
