New at the Role and already feeling overwhelmed
To provide context, I was previously an SDR at a technology company. My numbers were solid, not stellar but solid. we are focused in the senior living vertical. for whatever reason, our clients provided a steady stream of positive feedback about my approach and interactions. In fact, many of our largest clients specifically requested me to host their technical training sessions.
Long story short….i was asked by our CEO to transfer over to CS 2 weeks ago.
I said yes.
I’ve been on business trips 2 out of 4 weeks per month for the last 2 years. It’s had a negative effect on my health and created stress at home.
I’m very grateful to have a job at 60 but feeling almost immediately overwhelmed by the backlog I’m digging out of and company wide expectations.
