Question about Wifi 7.
I was having a conversation the other day about the different Wifi bands and the person I was talking to was confused about WiFi 6 and 7. It's my understanding that Wifi6E uses the 6ghz band, and the person I was talking to was wondering if Wifi7 uses a different frequency, like 7ghz. I know with some Xfinity gateways, you'll see the 6ghz network. But there's no 4th network, but they are said to be capable of Wifi7. And after reading about Wifi7, the way I'm understanding it is Wifi 7 will use all 3 networks to deliver the faster speeds. My main question is if this is true, does splitting the bands create issues with Wifi 7? Do all the bands have to be named the same for it work? And does naming the 6ghz network a different name cause problems with Wifi 6? Or am I completely misunderstanding this.
