Like if I were to give an award for the most accurate siblings portrayed on TV or film, it would go to Sam and Dean. I think part of why they just worked so well as siblings, and why their chemistry was so spot on to real sibling dynamics, was because Jared and Jensen almost immediately clicked like that irl. They had amazing chemistry.

The primal protectiveness they have over each other, the jokes they play on each other too, the small moments of stupid bickering, even moments where they are genuinely angry at each other, or one is hurt by the other in some way. All of this is exactly what having a sibling is like irl. And while a lot of other fictional siblings are written this way, it somehow feels so natural and balanced between Sam and Dean specifically. Sometimes I forget Jared and Jensen aren’t actual siblings in real life lol.

While I do think it feels more strong in season 1, that’s mostly because they were still younger at that point in their life, and probably still had some of that leftover childhood rivalry. You still see that later on, but it’s more less prominent since we see them become full grown adults, so their dynamic changes a bit. I think this also adds to the realism of it because we see slight shifts in their dynamic as the show goes on, and it’s played off very naturally and realistically.

Sam was so difficult to get right and the background sucks lol. But hope y’all like it.

I just thought it would be cute to draw my two favorite purple associated characters. Donatello would be so sick of him lol. (I did already post this before but this time I colored it and fixed some mistakes I noticed)

And honestly that would be so interesting to see, especially with Jax being able to have a final moment with Ribbit again like what Kinger had with Queenie.
