He just finished his first year in medicine. In his first term he failed in 3 subjects, we discussed with him for some time if he should change majors. But he was steadfast on staying in medicine, and said he’d improve in the 2nd term. 2nd term passed and he did improve but he failed in one subject. Discussed with him again today and he still wants to continue in medicine, but he did seem quite inclined to move to dentistry or physical therapy. But another family member told him it won’t be any different in difficulty. I’m just not sure if it’s a realistic choice to continue in medicine.
