Thoughts on how Women’s midcard titles affect the World titles

Thoughts on how Women’s midcard titles affect the World titles

These titles are definitely a good addition, especially for undercard talents like Ivy Nile, Maxxine, and Kiana James to get more spotlight.

However I'm thinking... could this be one of the reasons why the World titles aren’t being defended as frequently as before? With more titles in the mix, the focus seems more spread out, leaving the world champions alone at the top.

What’s it about Cody Rhodes’ promos that makes them difficult to sit through?

I’ve always wondered, what makes his promos different from other top stars? What is it that he does that others don’t? I don’t think ‘What do you wanna talk about?’ is the only issue, it feels deeper than that.

Then I came across a comment on YouTube saying his promo style is mostly yelling and screaming, whereas other top stars usually bring a range of emotions into their promos—happy, angry, confused, excited, provocative, threatening, etc... with the right tone.

Guys like Paul Heyman, John Cena, Edge, Roman Reigns, and Drew McIntyre don’t have to yell or scream to get their point across. That, to me, is the art of a promo.

What if the women's use the previous design of the belt instead of carbon copy of men's belt?

A proper Upper Card division

• Roman makes his entrance, make a promo.

• Interrupted by Oba Femi, Oba have a staredown with Roman and say "I'm next!"

• Seth Rollins music hits, Seth goes by "Whoa whoa whoa, who do you think you are? Goldberg? You can't just demand a championship match, you have to earn it!"

• CM Punk music hits, he goes by "I hate Seth, but he does make sense here..." And questioning what Oba did to deserve a championship match.

• Bron Breakker music hits, he laughed at both Seth & Punk saying that both of them lost their recent big matches, if anyone deserves a match, it's him.

• Adam Pearce made an announcement, Fatal 4-way no.1 contender match, main event.

• During the closing moment of the match, it seems like Oba about to finish CM Punk, but Bron throw Oba out and stole the pin, Bron wins.

• That would make Bron have a long program with Oba, Seth & Punk even though he did not win the championship match. And they can always rotate Seth/Punk/Oba to challenge Roman. With that, we have a proper Upper Card division.

Liv Morgan smiling while passed out, what do you think was happening there?

While people's opinions are majorly "it's the birth of a new gimmick", but I don't think it's intentional. I believe Ronda Rousey accidentally farts and Liv cannot control the laughter but still has to sell the passed out, considering how close Liv's ear to Ronda's behind.

Is it just me, or does Rhea Ripley look kinda odd with the WWE Women’s Title belt?

That Women's World Title seems like it was made for her, but the WWE Women's Title... I’m not so sure. Seeing her carry that title looks a bit awkward. But hey, maybe it’s just me 🤷🏻‍♂️

People on the internet often discuss how Oba Femi will get booed once he reaches the top. I'm not sure about Oba, but this guy will definitely get booed sooner than everyone else. 3 major problems Triple H did to him were :

  1. Gave him a Cody Rhodes-like-booking, where he want to get our attention with sympathy. He is a big guy! He doesn't need a sob story and cry to get over, let him roast, let him decimate, let him stay close to top stars.

  2. Finisher, a spinebuster really? This is not NXT Black & Gold anymore, moves like spinebuster, belly to belly, big boot, suplex & clothesline are not a believable finisher already. Plus he has no setup, just straight up spinebuster outta nowhere.

  3. Squash match that doesn't benefit him and his opponent.

WWE always try to incorporate Harley Quinn character into several superstars in the past, and none of them carry the character for long term. Which one of these do you think did the best work? Imo, Alexa Bliss has the best presentation, but Liv Morgan played the character better than the rest.
