Struggling with WILD

So originally, the title was going to be "Struggling with Yuschak's methods", but after thinking about it more I realized that what he writes about in his book and the supplements aren't the problem, actually succeeding in WILD is. His suggested supplements definitely work, my dreams on them have perhaps not been more vivid than usual, but they've been super long in comparison, however I can never achieve lucidity in them. I have lucid dreamed before, noticed when I was a kid that taking a nap often induces one (WBTB), however doing it now in the middle of the night doesn't seem to work. WILD technique has been either me getting insomnia or just falling asleep immediately. I have maybe felt some accelerated pull Yuschak describes in his book and maybe some auditory hypnogogic hallucinations (I've never understood people describing visual ones, do you guys sleep with your eyes open?), but I haven't gotten past that too. I know for a fact I've succeeded in WILD once in the past before (mind vaguely drifting around, images flowing in my head until I suddenly realized I'm in the image and that I can move around), so I know what to expect, however I've just been failing for a month now. Would appreciate some methodology/tips/advice
