Video Description:

A short animation about burnout and brainrot/social media.

This animation was one of our university projects, we only had one week to work on this project. The short is about burnout society, the protagonist has no energy to do anything besides bedrotting, and the only third space she has is the internet.

The backgrounds were handpainted in gouache by me.

Uma curta animação sobre bournout e redes sociais.

Essa animação foi um dos nosso trabalhos da faculdade, tivemos apenas uma semana para a realização do projeto, O curta aborda a sociedade do cansaço em que a protagonista não tem mais energia para fazer nada além do trabalho e o lazer que sobra é o uso de redes sociais.

Os fundos foram pintados tradicionalmente em guache por mim.

>the sink in a disabled household is a constant source of stress and yuckiness and i wanted to make some sinkdog fanart with that bit of pain in it. we don't usually see her all gross and dirty and miserable.

>someone on tumblr talked about how sinkdog is kinda cathartic because you scoop all the yucky parts out of the girl to make her into an object of cleanliness (and how it's ironic because she's kink art) and it had me thinking about how sinks are also yucky. feeling like even if you scrape yourself hollow, girlhood can still feel dirty. inescapable. plus the torment that you'll never be really done doing dishes because more dirty dishes are produced daily haha
