Back with another strawberry question 😔

hey Reddit…I’m back so soon, lol.

I need help figuring out if this is an old leaf shedding or it’s something wrong with my Penelope!! 😞 The rest of the leaves seem fine enough to me—no brown, crunchiness, or funky things going on, other than them curling slightly downward. The leaf experiencing the browning is the oldest leaf I’m pretty sure (that is, it was the first one I saw when I first got her a bit ago.)

I didn’t see any bugs on her or anything. Maybe a flying thing I just squashed lol. Am I doing something wrong, should I cut this leaf? I’m scared she’s dying 😭

Thank you!

Strawberry troubleshooting as a newbie :(

Hey guys!! It’s my first time trying out a plant other than potatoes and I’m panicking over if I’m taking care of this strawberry plant well or not (I named her penelope too) She’s doing good for the most part and has some awesome leaves growing so far, but recently I found a couple of things that I don’t know if I should cut off?

First, the yellow thing coming out of her seems like a flower, but no picture shows this thing exactly and it’s very slightly turning brown at the tip of the petals inside. I was thinking of cutting it, but I didn’t know if this would harm her.

Second, there’s some strange brown fuzzy leaves at the crown of her. They’re not crunchy or dry at all, they just simply seem brown and “fuzzy.” it’s really hard to describe, but it doesn’t look like any mold either :p should I be concerned? Cut them off? Theyre just so close to the crown.

Third (I didn’t get a pic of this unfortunately) but the bigger leaves are curling downward a tad. Theyre not browning or spotting, and they don’t feel crunchy.

many thanks and any help would be greatly appreciated!!thank you

(Little bit of extra info that I’m not sure is relevant or not but I got her maybe like a week and a half ago and replanted her to her current pot as well)
