Hi all! This summer I will take part in the 2026 edition of the Mongol Rally.

The finish line this year will be in Oskemen, Kazakhstan.

The organizers of the Mongol Rally said that it will be possibile to donate the car to a charity/private association at the end of the rally. In this way we won’t have to drive our car back.

Is it legal? I mean, usually I will have to pay import taxes. Will I have problems with Kazakh autorities in the future, like being unable of re-entering Kazakhstan? I wouldn’t like so.
