Meta Developer Account Suspended (Platform Term 7.e.i.3) – 150+ WhatsApp Business Customers Impacted, Looking for Advice

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for advice from anyone who has experienced a Meta Developer Account suspension, especially involving WhatsApp Business Platform applications.

We are a Meta Business Partner and operate a WhatsApp Business messaging platform serving more than 150 active business customers.

Recently, our Developer Account was suspended under Platform Term 7.e.i.3. As a result:

  • Developer portal access is blocked ("You cannot access this service")
  • Apps are inaccessible
  • API requests fail with errors such as:
    • Authentication Error
    • Error validating application. Application has been deleted
  • Message delivery for our customers has stopped

At the same time:

  • Our Business Manager is still active
  • Our WhatsApp Business Accounts still exist
  • Partner profile remains active
  • No new apps were created in the last 30–60 days
  • We use the official WhatsApp Cloud API and Embedded Signup flows

We submitted an appeal and provided all requested information, including App IDs and creator User IDs.

However, we have not yet received any response from the Developer Operations / Developer Policy team.

I'm interested in hearing from anyone who has faced a similar situation:

  1. How long did the Developer Operations review take?
  2. Was your Developer Account eventually restored?
  3. Did Meta provide details about the specific activity that triggered the enforcement?
  4. Are there any additional escalation paths available for Meta Business Partners?

Any guidance or shared experiences would be greatly appreciated.
