It doesn't feel like an even exchange. Advice?

Now that I'm finishing my 4th sit from the site in just over a month, I'm not sure if I think it's worth it.
Maybe I'm trying too hard? Walked these dogs for 3 hours yesterday... yes, they're high energy.. but between that and packing, learning the routines, cleaning, taking all the trash cans out, yada yada.. it's a lot to get used to for just a few days and I feel like I barely start enjoying the house on the 3rd day.

The owner gets someone taking care of their pets, home and garden while they're on vacation, and I thought this would be a semi vacation for me, but it really just feels like somewhere to sleep while I work.

Maybe it's not for me? Or maybe I just need to only book longer sits. I'm tired. Any advice to not get burnt out so quickly?

Getting rejected

Sooo it's finally happened.. I got rejected without communication or an interview. Do any of you say anything when that happens? If I was the HO I would've said thanks for applying or SOMETHING. I'm of course wondering why, and it's just frustrating how people can be cold these days and forget we are all human beings. I put a lot of thought into the application message. But at the end of the day it's really not a big deal lol just curious if anyone says anything or you just accept it and move on. I'm leaning towards the latter.
