I am planning to ride Lon Las Cymru this summer on my gravel bike (17kg fully loaded) over 4/5 days. I currently have 45mm Conti Terra Speeds but am considering switching to 32mm GP5000s for easier rolling on tarmac. Can someone who knows the route and surfaces tell me whether the efficiency is worth the reliability trade-off?
