Saw Boston show last night…What the???
What’s going on? Die hard fan here. Seen him 6 or 7 times now including Joshua Tree show. Last night was whack. Something seems off.
7pm doors. He came on at like 10pm? Like it’s Tuesday and your fans are in their 30s and 40s now bud. Let’s get on w the show. lol.
Why is alex v alex still opening? I thought her set was a joke or a troll at Joshua Tree. Absolutely stunned she’s still involved in his music. She does not set a good tone for the show. I don’t wanna disparage the poor girl too much. But for the love of god, why is he sabotaging his shows by having her perform? She just leaves confusion in her wake.
Sound was definitely off. Not sure whose fault that was…
On top of that, he decided to do all these deconstructed song openings… which after waiting for him to get out on the stage, it took him forever to get into a song… it just felt insulting.
Joshua tree was one of the best concerts of my life. And he’ll always be one of my fav artists. But goddamn, not loving where the live show is at right now.
