Normal or no

Has anyone filed for fibromyalgia and it triggered a mental health exam? I've been diagnosed with ptsd and generalized anxiety by the VA but I'll never file for compensating since I know I'm not going to do the work. The described 25 weeks of treatment triggered my anxiety and made me instantly angry thinking about it. Given the VA process, I'm not putting myself in that situation so they gave me meds and off I went. Now I find myself in the very I wanted to avoid. Google says it's a good thing and it's normal if the examiner discovered mental health issues in my record so I'm wondering if anyone has experienced this and if they can give me insight into what to expect?

Comparison Question

Curious if anyone can clarify this for me while I wait on my vso. I keep getting denied for pes planus though the aggravation is in medical records. The VA and medical opinion says that it doesn't matter how many times I was seen for my knees without being prescribed insoles or that the insoles are listed under pes planus because the appointment was for my knees then anything else they treated is related to my knees no matter what it's prescribed under. It also says that too many years past for my secondary conditions to count. They said the same thing for my shins but admitted that my shins complaints show an event and nexus in my records but it's still being denied with favorable findings.

What is the difference between the information you get from requesting your C-file and requesting your DBQs plus medical opinions? Am I going to get more insight into how examiners and raters are agreeing I check all three requirements (event, diagnosis, nexus) but it's still being denied?
