Good Books about East Berlin/Germany?
I just watched Steven Spielberg's Bridge of Spies, and realized that I know very little about East Berlin/Germany beyond the absolute broadest strokes. I love a good history book*, so: Could anyone recommend a good book(s) about this time period?
*Some of my favorite history books lately have been Cummings The Korean War, Perlstein's late-20th century American political histories, and Ferrer's Cuba: An American History, if these hep give you an idea of what I enjoy.
