Should I use my broken-in Brooks saddle from my touring mountain bike on my gravel bike?

I have a Brooks B-17 saddle that I've used for a few years now on my Surly Karate Monkey – it's fully broken in, fits me great, and I've ridden week-long tours on it with no chamois and no issues. My touring geometry is set up very upright with Moloko bars .

I have a 7 day tour coming up in a few months on my gravel bike (Salsa Journeyer). I typically do day rides on it in chamois and this will be my first time really riding it on a longer tour. I still have the stock saddle on it and have had no issues on day rides with chamois. I decided to try with no chamois on a recent 3 day gravel bikepacking trip to test the setup and definitely felt some hot spots/pain/saddle sore potential.

My main question is – could the B-17 be swapped to my Salsa and used on this tour? My instinct is that the upright geometry of the Surly vs. the gravel geometry of the Salsa means it's broken in for that specific riding position and won't necessarily be comfortable if swapped. Considering trying a C-17 as well but the broken-in leather factor was the real appeal of Brooks for me. Any insights would be appreciated!
