Looking for feedback (26m)
Hey everyone,
I’m looking for some outside opinions on my investing strategy and my self-managed portfolio. I’ll attach screenshots of the account holdings/performance below.
A little context:
- I currently keep an almost 400k of cash in TFDXX (BlackRock Liquidity Funds) which is currently paying 3.5% (it fluctuates) which was meant to remain liquid so it I can buy investment rental properties. I’m also a contractor which gives me an advantage in the real estate field.
- Because the NJ market is difficult/expensive, I’ve debated investing $2,000–$5,000 per week into index-focused investments like QQQ, VOO, SPY/S&P 500 funds, and similar positions instead.
- I also have 135k in a managed account in which I pay 1% to my advisor
Main things I’m looking for advice on:
- Does my current allocation and investing strategy make sense?
-Would you continue prioritizing index investing right now, or shift more heavily toward real estate acquisitions?
- Are there any obvious weaknesses, overlaps, or risks in my portfolio?
- If you were in my position, would you deploy cash differently in the current market?
I’m mainly looking for constructive criticism and perspectives from people with more investing experience.
Thanks in advance.
