Look, we'd all love another top-line pitcher here. But what the media and fans are missing here is that at this current point, Skubal is hurt. It's his elbow. He had an experimental procedure done(at Scott Boras's behest) that we have no idea will work or not. If it doesn't work, you are essentially emptying the farm of our top pitching prospects for a 2 month rental who's hurt. That is irresponsible and AA doesn't make irresponsible moves.

If we are going to acquire a pitcher I believe it should be Degrom or Joe Ryan.
