Academic scholars on the afterlife in the old testament
Academics generally say that the 5 books of moses contains such a lack of material on the afterlife that the early Israelites likely did not believe in an afterlife. Instead they probably got it from the Zoroastrians (after their exile) where you begin to get such references. What is the answer for this?
