Medium firm mattress I bought sucks- need suggestions
OK to be fair I bought a relatively cheap mattress for $160 and usually I’m really thorough with what I buy but I’m moving into a new place and just wanted a mattress and didn’t really look at the reviews but it’s hard as a rock(not really but still). It’s been two days with this mattress and my neck and back are in so much pain, I have never appreciated my old mattress so much the way I do now. Anyways, I’m looking for mattress recommendations and some people are saying weight comes into play and others are saying it doesn’t but just for reference I’m 85 pounds. I’ve never bought a mattress before so I thought medium firm would suffice but now I would much rather prefer something soft like my old mattress and no I have no idea what I used to have I wish I did. Im also a side sleeper and if any mattress experts out there could help I would greatly appreciate it. I will be sleeping on my couch until they remove this rock on the 28th(side note it’s really cool that they come and pick it up I was worried id have to drop her off awkwardly as she scrapes pavement). Affordability also comes into play unless my fafsa check hits which right now is not looking too good but that’s another story. sorry it’s my bedtime and I can’t sleep.
