Dan is a Tent Post
Plain and simple.
Different Dans
DrinkinBros Dan and Citizen Dan.
Citizen Dan is sensible. Wants to inform the audience. Maybe even knows the audience wants to learn something and appreciates his historical depth of information.
DrinkinBros Dan. Treats the audience like they're idiots. Intellectually beats people into submission. Avoids reporting on specific news. Strategically maintains a persona. Specifically demands the audience to think a certain way or they're gay/retarded/low T. Consistantly has no regard for humanity outside of US borders (reasonable given his obvious objectives). Dehumanizes Islam/Muslims (peaceful or otherwise),but doesn't tolerate criticism of the Little Hats theological issues in regard to Western/Christian beliefs. Discredits opposing opinions with weak character assassination and other logical fallacies. Low intellectual effort to prove his points.
Clear evidence that he knows his audience per which show he's doing. As a member of the audience it's hard to believe his points because you can see that aspects of it are manufactured.
Which one is real genuine Dan?
Dan is wrong. Change my mind.
Dan said racist people exist. Systemic racism does not exist.
If racist people exist, then racist people in a system can exist. With varying degrees of power over the system. This goes for any and all races/ethnicities.
Therefore Dan is wrong. Change my mind.

Listening to DB Show as a Critical Thinker
Been a long time listener.
Much of my problem with the show is taking the two talking heads seriously. Since the topics they cover and opinions they have are serious if you're an avid noticer of geopolitical issues and domestic news coverage.
However, Dan has told the audience straight a few times to not take this show serious. That your an idiot if your coming to the show for real-shit news coverage. Ross doesn't remember anything beyond two episodes ago. Dan will flip his stance on things if it's to preserve his "brands" persona.
I get that Dan is foremost protecting his big picture objectives and strategy (which includes the integrity of his on show persona) and Ross is milking what keeps his family fed. The problem is when you treat any critical audience like anti-american idiot's when their critical of anything they support. Plus massive censorship of any dissenters on their chats and DB app. Strange for free speech lovers.
Just plainly say that the motivations behind it are simply business. Like the news; I know that I'm being lied to because legally they can't tell the truth due to liability. Instead of saying all the people they've previously platformed are insane now because their critical of certain things.
When they do that it seems very clear to the audience that they're manufactured and not genuine anymore. The biggest tell to the viewer is when you DON'T cover certain things that are actively happening or Dan comes at something controversial with the most unheard-of angle that is obviously meant to just push his own propaganda. It almost seems like he's strategically playing to the audience as if that's been the objective the whole time.
To Dan's credit, if he is truly reporting factually and his efforts is to undo many years of wu-wu propaganda that we've all been fed from public school or media coverage then yeah I guess being absolutely fed up with false conclusions on certain things does justify his big sighs and his "you're all idiots" way of being.

Dan is a propagandist of his own beliefs,... But who isn't?
I think it's his own prerogative, but if you nit-pick his choice of words on the show it seems like every stance he takes is specifically to preserve his on-show tough guy persona aka the brand he's selling. Whenever he shifts stances on certain subjects, his tough guy, "nobody actually cares, and if you do you're gay/retarded" stance is always preserved.
I can't be the only one who has noticed.
