Why is so much of my Manta's memory used in just one week?
Edited to add: Thanks for the comments that it's just the operating system. I am transitioning from a Remarkable 2. Even though it had a fraction of the memory of the Manta, the os plus my notes used very little memory at all. So I was surprised when I saw how much was already used on my Manta. I'm enjoying all the features this has that my RM2 didn't, so it's worth the memory usage.
I've had my Manta a week and already one third of the memory has been used.
I have two notes that are updated daily and I set up 3 other notes that are updated occasionally.
I imported 2 epubs and 3 pdfs to see if I like reading on it and to try the digest feature. I have a single digest that I think is 3 pages long.
I read older posts about using the back button to clear memory and I did that with all my notes. I went into settings and cleared the cache. I had imported some black and white images to use as the covers of my notes and journals. I deleted those and just used plain unlined pages with text boxes for the cover pages.
All of that reduced my files by half a gb. But I still have just over 10 gb used in one week. Many of my notes are linked together. Is this the issue?
I added an sd card, but I can't create notes on it or link from files in the main memory to files on the card, so I'm not sure how useful the extra memory actually is.
How do I keep file size down if I'm adding to them every day?
