[Academic] Houseplant care habits and problem-solving (U.S. houseplant owners, 18+)

Hi everyone!

We’re a student team working on a UC Berkeley customer discovery project about houseplant care. We’re looking to learn from U.S.-based houseplant owners aged 18+.

We’re interested in how people usually care for their plants, how they notice when something is wrong, and where they go for help or advice.

The survey takes under 2 minutes to complete.

At the end, you can optionally let us know if you’d be open to a casual 15–20 minute follow-up chat by video, phone, or voice notes. This is completely optional, and no prep is needed.

Thank you so much!

Ethical ways to recruit niche users on Reddit?

Hi everyone,

I’m part of a student team doing a UC Berkeley customer discovery project about houseplant care.

We’re trying to recruit U.S.-based houseplant owners for short interviews, but we want to avoid spamming or breaking subreddit rules.

What are some ethical ways to recruit niche users on Reddit for customer discovery interviews?

Thank you!
