Does anyone have an 'Active Guild'?

So, the thing is that I have been in multiple Guilds at this point, all of which were Public Guilds by theg way.

My biggest problem with the Guildians (yes we'll call them that for now instead of Guild members) is that they kind of just stopped playing or contributing much to the Guild after a point.

And the 'point' I am talking about here is ofcourse, the Undying Battle. Literally every Guild I join, all the Guildians seem to stop playing the Undying Boss once they've acquired all the rewards. I even managed to contact one of the guild members and according to him, it's because "it's of no use".

Now, I don't want to be rude, and I am pretty sure that not every Guildian was like this, and honestly, it's their choice when and what they want to play.

But still, does anyone have a guild whose Guildians are active members and keep playing even after getting all the rewards. (I am level 68 right now.)

How long did it take?

Just a random question.

How in were you in these game when you first beat Nightmare and/or Master mode Parallel Realms in SkullGirls?

Like how long has you been playing? How long did it take for you to actually complete the mode?

Three diamonds in a row!

Today's Diamond

Two days ago

So, two days ago I got two Shrouded Relics from the 'A Shot in the Dark' Prize Fight. I opened it, my sound was low, I heard the cue.

I expected it to be some Silver or if I am fortunate, a Gold. And out came Tres Chic Valentine.

But that is NOT the end of the madness.

--------

Yesterday, I opened a random Premiere Relic which I probably got from the Guild Ops, and from that I got a Bronze Sheltered Parasoul. Okay.

But then that Bronze managed to fill up the Silver meter, giving me a free Silver Relic, out of which came Prism Plumage Peacock.

But then THAT Silver managed to fill up the Gold meter, giving me a free Gold Relics, out of which came Harlequin Cerebella. Very good. I have two now so I can literally have a 70% cooldown reduction. XBot is gonna go crazy with those Theonite Beams.

BUT THEN THAT Gold managed to fill up the Diamond meter, giving me a free Diamond Relic, out of which came Summer Salt Parasoul. Yippee! I don't know how good she is or anything, but I want her anyway. Plus I don't exactly have a lot of Parasoul variants, mainly just Sheltered.

-------

And today, I saw that the Premiere Relic meter was on 96, and Marie had appeared as the newest boss. And you know what that means. I managed to get to level 4 in some three tickets.

And out of the final, 100th Premiere Relic, came out Shadow Puppet Fukua.

Hmmmmm, those weren't very bad three days.

Now if only I actually had the resources to invest in them.

(Also no Summer Salt opening I didn't record it for some reason)

FINALLY! THE BERSERKER IS READY!

So, here we have it folks.

My Berserker has stepped onto the Rings of Diamond after having to wait for so long.

Now, the world shall know PAIN!

Just to let you guys know, I've trying hard to get my Berserker, aka Freaky Friday Painwheel to Diamond for a long time. Maybe like a month or two by now, mainly because I was also embroiled in other projects and just recently (somewhere around a week ago) decided to actually channel my efforts to evolve her.

And even when I did get the necessary Golds, turned out that I only had one Dark Essence. Then fortunately managed to get one more Dark Essence after managing to collect a 1000 Dark Essence Shards.

And today, after completing one of the Accolades (it was probably the one for upgrading a Diamond to max level, here DealBreaker), I managed to get some 2000 or 2500 Rift Coins. And guess what, after a refresh one of the items in the Rift Coins section was a Dark Essence for 1000 Rift Coins. Lucky me!

And now, we're here. Freaky Friday, my Berserker, now at Diamond, with a max Skill Tree, max Marquee, etc.

Time to show those 90k teams true pain!

(yes I have defeated such teams with just a Gold Freaky Friday before, and I am also thinking of revising and upgrading her moveset a bit)

Never Give Up. Don't let your inner Gamer die.

Nothing much, just a random match I played.

Sorry but the recorder doesn't seem to capture voice with the headsets on, and I couldn't take them off since everyone else was sleeping.

Some notes and stuff:

I accidentally forgot to use George's Day Out when Robo Fortune/ Reimaged was falling down.

For some reason, Filia/ Curl Scout went way beyond what she normally does, don't know why, this has barely ever happened.

Can someone please tell me why Dahlia managed to grab me mid-command grab?

For some reason, Dahlia/ Corrosive Agent attacked me (Dealbreaker/Peacock) even though I was infact holding the block. Maybe the game didn't register the block or something since my phone already does have touch screen problems randomly.

Ms.Fortune/ Just Kitten hits hard, but her blockbusters hit even harder, yet I was trying so hard to make sure that I don't accidentally use them and trigger her barrier again. But as soon as I saw the Hex pop up due to Brain Drain's Head Trauma Guest Star, I went all out and made sure to delete her before the timer ran out.

Unfortunately, I didn't get to show you the true strength of Valentine/ Final Fang. I feel ashamed. Maybe next time.

Welp. That was quick.

Pretty DECENT prize for basic mode.

So, recently I decided that I want more 'risky' characters to play with, because I just keep risking my streaks and stuff for no reason.

Yesterday I got Flower Power Fukua from a Headliner Relic. And then set the Diamond favour/pity to Fatal Fray, knowing that variants such as Killing Time and Inkfluencer are still available. But do I care? Absolutely not.

Plus, Ms.Fortune is one of my most favourite characters and I have never regretted anything regarding her. (My first ever Bronze to Diamond was a Just Kitten Miss Fortune.)

And so today, as my playtime was nearly over, I decided to spend the remaining 10-15 minutes into a Basic mode Parallel Realms just for some quick rewards.

I easily cleared it. Got a lot of canopy coins and XP treats, and ofcourse, a Headliner and Premiere Relic.

I opened the Premiere Relic. Fodder.

I opened the Headliner Relic and.... OH MY GOD!

And that's how we got here folks.

Gotta say. Pretty decent prize for some Basic mode matches.

Your first Bronze to Diamond?

Who was your first Bronze to Diamond?

Mine was Just Kitten Ms.Fortune.

I can't help but say this, but this gal is literally a demon inhabiting the body of a cute catgirl and possessing ultra instinct.

Bruh WTF😭

So, today I woke up and saw this. See that? The game wants me to download everything from the start, and even asked me if I was a new or returning player, despite the fact that I have been playing it for nearly two months now.

I can just hope nothing's happened to my progress. I can't man.

Please god please, I only get to play like, 10-20 minutes a day, my phone decides that it will only tap when it wants to, and now this.

I didn't update anything, nor did I try any cheats. I just opened the game and saw that it wanted to download everything back from scratch. I don't even have that much data to spare. 😭

How does Valentine do it?

You know sometimes when you're against Valentine (basically any variant), her second attack from her Dash attack (the one where she swings her saw) can cause Guard Break, basically breaking your blocking and leaving you vulnerable.

How does she do it? I have tried to do it so many times with stronger Valentine variants, yet they are never able to just break the opponent's guard.

Note that I also don't have any debuffs such as Guard Break or any kind of modifiers and this still happens, in vanilla gameplay, by even a standard bronze Scrub Valentine.

HOW?

What was YOUR first and latest Hard-Max?

Who was your first Hard-Max? What was your latest one?

For context, 'Hard-Max' is basically a way of saying that you invested a lot of money and/or resources in a character or item or skill, etc. all at once, even though you yourself haven't even played with it much hands on.

Conditions differ between games, here you can say that instantly unlocking the entire skill tree of a variant you have never or barely played with also counts as one.

My first one was Corrosive Barrier, who was a variant I ground a lot for in her prize fight Frags to Riches, mainly because I had seen how annoying she could be on defense team. And yet, I STILL haven't played with her much.

My latest one which I did today was One Up Big Band. Fun fact, One Up is one of THE first Golds I ever got in SGM. But since I wasn't that good as Big Band compared to characters such as Beowulf and/or Ms.Fortune, and since his SA didn't interest me a lot at the time (I barely ever even read it), I still kept him , which I am honestly happy about.

Enough to make a grown man meow!

Another proud moment!

Enough to make a grown man meow!

My first ever Bronze to Diamond, my first ever Water Diamond, my first ever Diamond Ms.Fortune and....., I guess that's it.

Ms.Fortune mains, and even those who aren't, will know exactly how much of a menace she can be once she gets her momentum going.

Plus, I just love Ms.Fortune as character as to how unique she is, and I also like the Just Kitten palette, so....

Yeah, no matter if she's meta or not, I am doing what I want.

Man, I had thought you guys were strong!

I used to be scared after seeing those numbers.

It was all for nothing. Why are such teams even made by the way?

Also, this is like, my second attempt on such a fight. In the first one I did, I lost none of my fighters.

And as of the time I am posting this, I have done a total of 18 fights like these in a row without losing with the same team most of the time (I did change up teams a bit for experimentation, though these ones are basically my strongest).

u/IllustratorScary2561 — 1 month ago

Bruh, what just happened?

Is Counter, Strike really that powerful?

I mean, I had expected a stagger, or a singular shot, or maybe even a Burst like effect, but not this.

Also, this was my first time using Counter, Strike by the way.

Just got Splitting Image!

So, I just got Splitting Image Fukua from a Diamond Relic. I want some help.

Don't know much about her, especially Fukua. The thing is that SOMEHOW I never got any variants for Fukua other than Rain Shadow, Rough Copy and Infernal Twin, and we're quickly overshadowed by other Golds, Diamonds, etc.

Now I recently got her and will probably restart my Fukua Arc.

Any tips and tricks to get started with both Fukua and Splitting Image?

u/IllustratorScary2561 — 1 month ago

PLEASE STOP!

Bruh I have been trying, SO HARD, but for some reason, every Key Relic I open, seems to give me a guaranteed Gold Key. This thing has been going on for week and I barely got some Silver Keys and nearly three Bronze keys that I spent.

Give me Diamond Keys, or Bronze Keys, but please man, I am tired of Gold only.

I mean yeah, I do have a lot of Golds to upgrade, but that doesn't mean that I only want THOSE keys.

u/IllustratorScary2561 — 2 months ago

FINALLY!

Finally, she's done.

Final Fang is one of my best and favourite fighters. Today I finally got the last Final Fang Gold copy from a Premiere Relic, allowing me to evolve her to Diamond.

So basically, Final Fang is my first character to have been evolved to Diamond.

Sure it's not that big of a deal, but come on, all of you must've had THAT moment. Not to mention that I had been planning for a long time as to what moves will she equip, strategies, etc.

Plus hey, come on, how can you say no to Ms.Kakashi.

What's yours?

What's a feature in the game Skullgirls Mobile which you like?

One my favourite features from a game design point of view are the modifiers which restrict the player to certain characters. This means that if you truly want to experience the game, or many times even play it, you NEED to have that character, and considering that getting a character (not a variant, a character) is not that hard anyways, it's good to have such type of character modifiers at hand.

This makes sure that you aren't always with just YOUR MAIN and actually play with and master all of the characters.

Note that this one is from a pure game-design point of view from me.

So, what are yours?

JoJo Reference!!!!!

So, for a recap of my luck (good luck only) for the past few days in Skullgirls Mobile.

Some 4 days ago, I got Oh Mai Valentine from a random Daily Relic.

Then almost immediately the next day, I got Big Baddy Big Band.

Then yesterday I managed to rack in a Corrosive Barrier Black Dahlia from the Frags To Riches prize fight.

And today, I decided that Theonite are just pixels and decided to spend it a bit. Air Relic, 150 theonite, some Silver Parasoul variant. Then I opened another one. Premiere Relic, 100 theonite.

And. I got her. Don Passione. No meter or anything, just pure rng like last time (my first diamond and the one I got this was was X Bot).
