Germany In-person Skillbridge Opportunities?
Hello all, I'm stationed in Germany and am considering transitioning out, but would love to stay here a while longer. I was wondering if there are in-person Skillbridge opportunities in the Kaiserslautern area, as I am stationed here with my family. It would be difficult to participate in a Skillbridge anywhere other than here, or my home of record in DFW (which I am also open to).
I'm looking for opportunities that would further expand on my current role as a Network Administrator/SATCOM operator. I am wanting to get into Satellite Network Engineering if possible as I greatly enjoy both the SATCOM and Networking side of my job. I'm very well versed in Linkway TDMA and love the troubleshooting side of networking. I'd like to move into a role that would continue to challenge me so I can continue to grow.
Anyone have insight/experience with this? Or any suggestions of other careers/roles outside of Network Engineering? I love what I do at the RHN, the effect I have on the mission, and the unique challenges I encounter. Bonus points if I am still able to continue helping out our warfighters.
