I’m currently training a 6-day hypertrophy/strength split and my current gear is failing the "sniff test"—my fabric straps have become a permanent science experiment. I’m looking at the Versa Gripps Pro to simplify my bag and fix the hygiene issue, but I have a few real-world questions:
- The "2-in-1" Reality: Can these actually replace dedicated wrist wraps for heavy Bench and Overhead Press? Or is the support too "partial" when the weight gets serious?
- The Sweat Factor: Since the material is non-porous (great for smell), does it get slick if your palms are dripping? How do you keep your grip "tacky" mid-set?
- Stink Check: For long-term owners, do these actually stay smell-neutral with just a wipe-down?
