Hello, in mid June we are flying from East coast USA to CDG airport. We have 10 total nights (flying out Sunday night and returning the following Thursday). We are planning for the first 3 nights in Normandy and last 7 in Paris. We’re debating between renting a car at CDG versus taking the train to Bayeux and renting a car there.
What makes more sense logistically? It sounds easier to drive than to have to backtrack into Paris from CDG to get a train. Then again, will be severely jet lagged and am worried about getting off the plane and having to drive in a foreign country, although I don’t know how stressful the drive from CDG to Bayeux is. Thanks for any advice on best travel logistics.
