I’ve been working with Framer for the past 6 months, mostly building templates and components. So far I’ve published 7 templates and 13 components on the marketplace.

Now I’m thinking about starting freelance client work and positioning myself as a Framer expert. The only thing holding me back is that I have zero experience working with clients.

To be honest, I’ve been avoiding client work mainly because of my communication skills. My spoken English isn’t very strong, so I’m worried about handling calls, understanding client needs, and presenting my work.

I had a few specific questions for those already doing Framer freelance work:

- Do most clients communicate through messages (chat/email), or do they expect Zoom calls regularly?

- As a beginner, what would be a reasonable price range for small Framer projects?

- Do clients usually expect you to handle the full web design process, or just the Framer development/build?

For those who started with no client experience or had language barriers, how did you handle it?

Any advice or personal experiences would really help 🙏

Hey everyone,

I’m a Framer partner and I’m a bit confused about how payouts are being handled. My last payment was on March 6, and now I’m being told my next payout (covering Feb 9 – Apr 1) will only be processed in the first week of June.

That basically makes it a 3-month gap, even though payouts are supposed to be on a 2-month delay. Before, payments felt more monthly (like Feb earnings in April, March in May), but now everything is grouped into one period and delayed further.

Is this normal? Has anyone else experienced this? Also wondering if manual or partial payouts are even possible, because this system feels really confusing.

Would appreciate any insight 🙏
