Hot Take: I don't like Carol Ferris
As a love interest specifically; she is fine as a character in most continuities.
Why do people like her so much as Hal Jordan's love interest? She killed Katma Tui, was a literal supervillain, treats every man she has been with horribly, gotten with Kyle Rayner behind Hal's back, and so many other bad things (such as her treatment towards Nathan Broome).
I'm not even bringing up how she is literally his employer and super rude towards him.
Otherwise I do like her as a character (especially as a villain or the Queen Star Sapphire) but her as a love interest is not very enjoyable when reading the Green Lantern Comics.
(Also for those wondering: I am not defending Hal being toxic either, this post is just about Carol specifically)
