So there are a few Tour de France experiences.
I am looking specifically at Thompson bike tours
Rive Gauche
Grandstand Elysees
For anyone who has gotten tickets for either of these how was your VIEWING experience? Were you able to see the winner cross the champs elysees, were you able to see the cyclists bike around the champs elysees?
I know the rive gauche is more VIP, better food etc.
But specially looking to find out how the view is.
So I realize there are a bunch of posts on this but I didn’t see anything to answer my question in particular.
I’m taking my husband to TDF and we want to specifically see the final day at the champs elysess.
I don’t want to stand for hours with no bathroom or food so I would like to get us VIP tickets to be able to go a little later , have access to a bathroom and some food.
We have never been and he is a HUGE cyclist in our area for years so this is super important and special to us.
My question is:
Where do I get VIP tickets without going through a tour group to just have access to the finish line.
Others who have done this- what is the experience like?
