Repairing drywall over popcorn ceiling
Hello! I recently had to open up my ceiling in order to have some plumbing work done.
When I opened the ceiling, I realized that someone had previously drywalled the ceiling. I’m thinking instead of putting double drywall, I will cut a square piece of strapping and put it where the yellow circle is, then put a piece of strapping under that and attach to the red circle area. Does that make sense?
