Deptford or Woolwich or anywhere else?

Hi All,

Moving to London soon and will be taking a trip in the next month to start viewings.

Job is technically remote so could be anywhere in London (problem number 1), but want to be central enough to get into London to experience the city and do some activities like Warhammer meet-ups or gaming clubs.

Budget is max £2500/month for a 2 bed and looking for an apartment. It seems like Deptford and Woolwich are good options with solid transport and you can get a good amount of apartment for your money (as well as get out and into other places in under 45 mins). I've watched a lot of walking tour videos of the areas and being from the North, they look perfectly fine.

I am planning to book a place in Greenwich and visit these two areas on separate days. Before I start pulling the trigger, is there anywhere else I should strongly consider that would provide better space for equal London proximity?

Thoughts and opinions would be very appreciated

Family accounts?

Currently planning a bed and ISA strategy post marriage. I would like to start combining our FIRE portfolio then after tying the knot.

Obviously ISA's are individual saving accounts and so we cannot have both our names on the account, but I would like to see our total portfolio combined whenever I login to the account.

I think for me and my partner this would be best psychologically so that it's our portfolio and one big motivation number, as well as avoid the his/hers pot stuff which I don't feel is healthy when one of you may forgot work with kids and things etc...

It looks like Interactive brokers let's you see a full family plan combined, whereas Hargreaves Lansdown let's you see different Linked accounts under the same page.

Do any of you use a platform for family accounts and can you see the total combined number as a portfolio summary?

Appreciate anyone's input on this. Thanks community
