What does this mean
Process with this company started on May 4th with submitting my application. The recruiter reached out May 5th to schedule a phone screening. Phone screening done and in person interview was scheduled on May 6th. The In person interview was done one May 12th, that day I also provided references and scheduled an in clinic shadow day. The In person shadow day was completed on May 19th.
I sent a thank you email to the manager after my shadow, expressing interest and my value, she basically responded “thanks for coming, I have more interviews to finish up this week, then we’ll be in touch” This email felt like a rejection.
Then I got this text from the recruiter today. I’ve never had an ominous scheduled phone call with a recruiter before, what does it mean? I really want this job and am just stressing so hard about this.
EDIT/UPDATE:
I got an offer!! The logistics of the role changed a bit, offer is for a different clinic than the one I had interviewed for initially. Apparently things changed with an employee that was planning on leaving and the full time position was no longer needed. This other location is about 30 minutes away, whereas the initial one was 15 minutes, but I am okay with that to get out of my toxic current job.
Thanks for all the encouragement, I was still very anxious all night, but the comments really gave me a little peace of mind ♥️
