Dog Staples - Scab Fell Off
Golden retriever had surgery exactly a week ago to remove a mass on back hind area. Right in the floof.
Incision was closed with staples. Is apx. 8 inches long. Today some of the scabs fell off and the wound is leaking and will bleed with movement/sitting on it. One area is a bit open and that’s where it’ll bleed from.
Does this look ok? Should I leave it open to the air? Should I cover with a shirt? I’m worried and my vet is closed for the day and closed tomorrow.
