msc accounting and finance offer holders profile

Hi everyone,

I wanted to ask those holding offers for an MSc Accounting & Finance — what was your profile like?

I completed my bachelor’s in Computer Science and recently passed CFA Level 1. I’m also considering taking the GRE to strengthen my application.

I feel my chances for MSc Finance might be lower because of my non-finance background and the acceptace rate is low too for finance compared to A&f , so I’m trying to understand what kind of profiles usually get accepted into MSc Accounting & Finance programs.

Would really appreciate if you could share:

  • Your undergraduate degree/background
  • GPA/classification
  • Internships or work experience
  • CFA/GMAT/GRE (if any)

Just trying to get a realistic idea of where I stand. Thanks!

Hi everyone,

I wanted to ask about the flydubai Cadet Pilot Programme and how it compares to the Air Arabia cadet pathway.

For Air Arabia, my understanding is that the programme provides around 1,500 hours, but First Officer upgrade is not fully guaranteed and depends on performance, company requirements, and successful completion.

Does flydubai offer a similar structure, or is progression to 1,500 hours and eventual First Officer status more secure/guaranteed?

I’d especially appreciate insights from:

  • Current flydubai cadets

Main questions:

  • Is 1,500-hour employment effectively guaranteed?
  • Is FO upgrade structured into the pathway, or still performance/business dependent?
  • How does long-term job security compare with Air Arabia?

Any real student or pilot experiences would be really helpful before making such a major financial commitment with airarabia or wait for an year to reapply in flydubai

Thanks in advance!
