Socialism In One Country
Maybe I’m wrong, but the idea that socialism can be built and maintained in one country seems very un-Marxist.
Maybe I’m wrong, but the idea that socialism can be built and maintained in one country seems very un-Marxist.
Let’s say roughly 60% or so of a country’s GDP is within the private sector, but it’s regulated by the state (can be bought off to look the other way), is that country capitalist?
So my family is from a small coal mining town in Virginia. I know that the town has “mountain” in the name, but can’t remember the whole name. I grew apart from everyone in my family, because of the dumbest and smallest things. But I remember this town from visits when I was a child.
Well I just got word that with my grandfather passing away, and me being the last one of my family, I wanted to go to the town where we came from (maybe steal another lump of coal) and pay my respects and maybe get some sort of closure.
So my brain seems to always be going 1,000 mph (kind of really annoying at times), especially when I’m on the assembly line at work. It’s almost always Marxist theory related, and applying it to today’s society.
I think it having my brain going like that has caused me to be kind of reclusive at times and just socially really awkward at other times.
I feel like writing all of these things down and organizing them would really help, but the second I ever sit down to actually do just that is when my mind decides to go completely blank. Any help with suggestions on getting started with writing and/or writing methods would be much appreciated!
