How would I remove the rear fender on a 2001 Yamaha vstar 1100 classic? The hardware for the saddle bags infront appears to have no way at all the access the screw that goes through into the frame. Second image is what is on the other side of the circled part, it isn’t a nut it’s a screw confused on how exactly I would remove it since it’s covered in metal. Thanks

Noticed my motorcycles been feeling like it’s stuck in higher rpms or as if the choke was half way open when it was closed all the way and noticed this nut that looked loose? Just wanted to get confirmation that shouldn’t not be there? Thanks guys sorry if a dumb question.

Forgive me if the replacement is way past due but I’m pretty new to riding so am not really too sure when they should be changed. Was planning on riding from the Central Valley to Los Angeles soon and wanted to know if they should be changed before I do so. Thanks!
