Which One Piece arc genuinely changed how you see the whole story? Not your favorite — the one that recontextualized everything before it.
For me it was Marineford. Up until then the world felt like Luffy's playground — dangerous but conquerable. Marineford showed that the world doesn't care about your progress or your crew. People die, the strong win, and the hero can't always save everyone. It reframed every single previous arc for me. What was yours?
