Egg retrieval 5 years after hysterectomy

I had a hysterectomy 5 years ago, it wasn't a total one. I still have my ovaries in place. However, I'm about to be 45 years old and would like to know if I can retrieve my eggs so that they can be either Frozen or fertilized with my new husband's sperm, so that we can use them for surrogacy. What is the likelihood that I could still retrieve eggs at my age? I know is a low possibility, but I battled Stage IV Endometriosis which led to the hysterectomy, and always wanted another baby. Now, after having had a hysterectomy 5 years ago, and meeting the love of my life and wanting to have his baby, I am saddened that we might not be able to have a kiddo of our own.

Anyone ever been in a similar situation and have been successful?

I keep reading about "egg quality" but there seem to be sooo many women in my age range having healthy babies, I can't help but hope that will be my case.
